Personal Bankruptcy - Is Personal Bankruptcy a Good Option For You?

Many individuals are very hesitant to file for bankruptcy but with the amount of debt the average consumer is facing these days, the economy of the world is not what it once was. Individuals in the United States seem to have the most debt because it is so easy to buy most anything you want on credit.

Most of the debt individuals have accumulated is due to their vehicle and their home. This type of debt is referred to as secured debt because there is a physical item attached to the loan. Should the loan not be repaid according to the terms the lender can take possession of that property.

Credit cards fall under the category of unsecured debt because they have no collateral attached to them. This is the second highest type of consumer debt there is right now. The fact that credit cards are so easy to obtain and use is one of the major reasons why so many people are facing financial struggles. Ironically, credit cards were designed to help consumers be able to have a way to cover expenses during an emergency situation.

Yet it is the process of using credit cards that has been put into motion by the credit card companies that keeps consumers in the continuous cycle of debt. In fact, many consumers find themselves a slave to their credit card debt and that is when they look to solve the problem by filing for bankruptcy. How do credit card companies do this? The fact that they allow consumers to make a very small minimum payment on their account each month results in the balance taking years to pay off.

Each time an individual falls for a low monthly payment on their credit cards they are one step closer to financial disaster. The amount they owe doesn't go down much with the payment and if more charges are made the balance actually increases. When an unexpected circumstance happens such as losing a job or illness the credit card may get used even more. Yet the individual is slowly losing their ability to make even those low minimum payments. The accumulation of secured and unsecured debt that an individual has may result in the decision to file for personal bankruptcy.

Wedding Insurance - Perfect For the Pregnant Horse and Stolen Carriage

Life can be remarkably unpredictable, which is why wedding insurance increasingly makes a very great deal of sense. Wedding cancellation insurance costs very little in comparison to the thousands of pounds spent on the average wedding these days, and yet can often prove to be worth its weight in gold.

However, many people decide not to bother with wedding insurance, confident that all will be well. Perhaps they know the service providers personally, and are happy that very little can go wrong. However, there are many potential disasters just waiting to happen, and the words 'who would have thought' come leaping to mind all too easily when faced with an unexpected mishap.

Life can throw all sorts of curved balls, but they seem to be thrown more often when you're least prepared. Not having wedding insurance is a little like staking your life that the old rickety wooden bridge across the canyon is quite capable of supporting the weight of your four wheel drive truck, and demonstrating the fact.

Yes, you might just be lucky - but if you're not, then it may be a long way down. For the sake of a few pounds it makes good sense to protect yourself.

Although it is easy to lull yourself into a false sense of security, believing that everything is under control and nothing serious could go wrong, the truth is that wedding cancellation insurance exists solely because serious things do go wrong, and regularly.

For example, consider what you would do if you discovered that just a day or two before your wedding there was flooding in the area of the venue. Perhaps the venue is flooded, and has had to close, or perhaps the roads are impassable, and no one can even reach the venue. You have little control over the weather, the local drainage system or the ability of the sun to evaporate several million gallons of water by 3pm.

Neither can wedding insurance, but at least it will protect your considerable financial investment, allowing you to rearrange your wedding at no additional expense.

If you have organised transport for your wedding day - perhaps a limousine - then you may well be looking forward to arriving in style. That is, until you get a phone call from the limousine driver to explain that the car has broken down and won't be ready until the following week. Or you discover the driver has been stopped for drink driving and has had his license taken away.

Perhaps you'd played it safe and booked a horse and carriage, only to hear that the horse is pregnant and the carriage has been stolen. These might all seem bizarre and improbable circumstances, yet you could quite easily fill your reception venue with those couples who have experienced these very eventualities for themselves.

Wedding insurance is something you hope never to have to look at again once you've organised it, just as you hope not to look at a flooded wedding venue, a driverless limousine or a pregnant horse.

Anger Management - Releasing Anger & Finding Freedom

Of all the emotions we experience in our lives, anger seems to be one we all experience frequently in one way or another. When we think of an angry person we might picture someone getting loud or aggressive; or someone who is critical and mean. But anger is also expressed in other ways as in a person who is depressed and turns their anger inward. Or in a person who is afraid or frustrated or lonely.

Most often when we experience feelings of anger they alert us to an underlying emotion(s). That is, there is something behind our anger. For example, we might feel angry because we have been hurt by what someone said to us. So the underlying emotion here is hurt. Once we recognize this and deal with the hurt we will be able to release our anger. We might also feel angry because we feel frustrated that things did not go as planned. Realizing why we are angry and then dealing with the frustration will help us release the anger.

Sometimes when people are angry they don't realize that they are also experiencing other feelings as well. Identifying what other feelings besides anger they are experiencing is an important first step to learning what is really behind their anger. Then those feelings can be faced. Sometimes it is so much easier to feel angry than it is to face other feelings like shame or guilt or rejection. Those feelings can be unpleasant and uncomfortable and that is why so many people run from their feelings or try to bury them. Drug and alcohol abuse, gambling, promiscuity, work holism, gossip, etc., are all evidence of this.

So how can we face what is behind our anger and release it? It all depends. We might need to accept certain people or things in our lives. We might need to forgive someone. We might need to work on our self-esteem. We might need to make changes and take action. We might need to learn how to manage our emotions. Acceptance, forgiveness, and taking responsibility will help us to let go of anger that weighs down our hearts. Anger that is unresolved and not motivated to positive action keeps us from having peace and a calm, untroubled mind.

Anger is not all bad. It is a God-given emotion that helps us to experience life in all its fullness. It is what we do with our anger that matters. We can learn to manage and control our anger before it becomes destructive. If necessary, we can get professional help to deal with it. We do not have to feel ashamed or guilty for feeling the way we do. Each one of us experiences anger from time to time. Anger has no control over us when we choose to release it. We can manage our anger, let go of toxic emotions, and experience freedom.

How to Install a New Garage Door Sensor

There are times when we experience problems with our garage doors especially when we encounter that the garage entrance door did not remain closed down so we need to rush out to the market and buy a new garage door sensor. But this is not actually a difficult problem to tackle so you do not need to worry because it will only take around half an hour to finish the job.

Basically, all you need to do is to keep tract with those important tools like screw drivers, socket wrench plus a string and the garage doorway sensor.

Once you have the tools in hand begin on the initial step of installing your garage door sensor. The first step with regards to putting in brand-new garage door sensors will be to close the power of the garage door. Failure to accomplish this step is threatening your own safety.

Garage entry way sometimes weighs up as much as 4 hundred lbs. Base on the latest statistics, it was reported that there were some people who have been affected by this kind of incidents. Therefore be extremely careful.

Additionally, you need to disconnect any wiring from your sensors as well as unscrew any kind of mounting bolts and also screws that are holding the sensors in place. After that, you need to place the sensors in the specific location as the ones that you have just taken out. This is very essential, for the reason that sensors should be aligned for them to function effectively. Whenever the sensors aren't aligned correctly the doorway won't close and will be a reason for you to definitely have another try on it.

Once, the sensing unit is screwed firmly into place, you need to use the string and drape from one sensor to the other one.

Make sure the string is firmly secured. This is done to be sure the sensors are aligned correctly. If you notice any kind of errors, make sure to repair all of them and also adjust the sensor that is turned off. After the anchoring screws are secured into place, you can remove the string.

Now you can switch the electricity back on to the garage and start to check the set up. You should first raise the garage up, and then press the switch for this to go all the way down, before it gets completely down, you should wave your hand in front of the sensor only. Make sure you stay away from the door itself. When the garage door stops and right away begins to go back up, then you know that you've set up the sensor correctly.

Rough Guide to Blogging - Book Review

I just finished reading "The Rough Guide to Blogging." As a new professional blogger and owner of several blog directories, I am attempting to read every thing I can on the subject of blogging. I have read other offerings from the "rough guide" series so my expectations were set very high. I am happy to report that this guide exceeded my expectations. This book provides an in-depth and thorough view into the world of blogging.

There are a lot of pages devoted to starting up a blog and getting it of the ground. This is important because so many blogs fail in the first month; this will help get you over that hurdle. The book is small but do not be fooled there is great information contained in the pages. There is absolutely no filler; everything that is written is great information that all bloggers need to know.

It was very well written and extremely engaging. I picked it up and did not put it down until I finished it. I have been blogging for years but I learned so much from this author. This blog resource is probably the best value you can find in bookstores in regards to valuable information versus price.

In closing, I would highly recommend this to everyone that has a blog or anyone that is thinking about starting one. The entire series is a must for new bloggers but even professional bloggers like me can pick up some new and helpful tips from this book.

Fertility Signs: You Want Me to Stick My Finger Where?

Trying to conceive a baby was one of the most exciting (and frustrating) times of my life. I was so anxious to get pregnant, however, after my first pregnancy ended in a miscarriage I was so upset that I wasn't quickly getting pregnant again. I had read that it can take a healthy couple up to a year to get pregnant. All I could think of was "Dang, that's a long time". I wanted to get pregnant now not in 365 days. I decided to improve my chances of getting pregnant by checking all of my natural fertility signs.

Cervical Mucus

One thing that you can check to see if you are fertile is your cervical fluid. Yes, I know this sounds gross already but when you are desperate you'll do anything almost. During your monthly cycle your cervical fluid changes its consistency quite a bit.

I noticed that shortly after your period ends the fluid has a sticky consistency, then changes to a cream like texture, and as you are getting very close to ovulation it has almost an egg whites quality to it. When you are getting ready to relieve yourself take a quick wipe with toilet paper (before you go #1) and check the consistency of your discharge. If the fluid is clear and similar to egg whites you are nearing ovulation. You can also take a more in depth look and use your fingers to gather some fluid. Are you scrunching up your nose yet in disgust? Really, it isn't so bad! I think it is easier to tell if the fluid is an egg white consistency if you grab some between your fingers and give it a stretch. The further the fluid stretches the more likely you are fertile.

Basal Body Temperature

When you fall asleep at night your temperature drops. This is your basal body temperature. However, ovulation causes your basal body temperature to rise (usually by at least.4-.6).

Charting your BBT will help you know when you have already ovulated (not before). So say you are charting a long and one day your temperatures increase and stay increased. This probably means you have ovulated.

The best wake to record your basal body temperature is to lay out a thermometer, a piece of paper, and a pen next to your bed. Then each morning wake up at the same time (set an alarm if you have to) and as soon as you wake up take your temperature. Do not move around a lot or get out of bed or think too hard (just kidding)-just slowly reach over, grab the thermometer, and stick it in your mouth. Write down whatever temperature shows up. If you do this for a few cycles you will begin to see a pattern of when you ovulate which will in turn let you know when you should be "getting down to business" in the future.

I used a digital basal body thermometer to record my temperatures. Whatever thermometer you just make sure it measures to 10th's of a degree to get the most accurate results. Also, if you buy a basal body thermometer they often come with a blank chart where you can record your temperatures. If you are going to start charting your basal body temperature I suggest you take a look at fertilityfriend.com. I used their charting system with every pregnancy I have had. I think it is much easier to input everything into the computer rather than keeping everything on paper. Plus, their system keeps track of all of the fertility signs you enter (including when you and can calculate when you are most fertile. I loved it!

Cervix Position

Okay, let me be honest here. I tried and tried to check my cervix position when I was trying to conceive but I never could tell what I should be feeling for. It's like feeling around in one of those boxes at children's museums where you are supposed to guess what's in the box. Let's just say I failed that test! They say when your cervix is high, open, and soft (often described as feeling like your lips) you are considered the most fertile. Stick in your fingers and give it a whirl-maybe you will have better luck at feeling the differences than I did.

Managing Change - Understanding Why People Change

When attempting to manage change in an organization you have to first understand that there is no such thing as organizational change - there is only people change. Organizations are simply groups of people working under a certain structure that enables them to accomplish the work at hand. It's important that you get that as most people don't.

Now that we have that out of the way, let's turn to the question of 'why' people change. Understanding the 'why' is the first step in the challenge of engaging people in the organization in the change efforts. If you miss this one, you'll miss lots more and your efforts will never get off the ground.

There are two reasons and two reasons only that people change. One is inspiration, the other is desperation. People are inspired to be different or they are forced through some form of desperation. Think about it... people change primarily around events like marriage, birth, death or a health crisis. Let me explain.

Several years back I was an alcoholic. I started drinking when I was fourteen years old. Growing up in a small town in Ohio, seventy-five people, and we had one saloon. If you could get your head over the bar, you could get served. My friends and I used to gather up soda bottles for two cents each and cash in a quarter's worth and buy a quart of Carling Black Label. That was my start.

Fast forward a little over a decade, I'm late twenties, married with one child and still drinking out of a fire hose. My time in Nam as a Marine sniper didn't help matters and after six years of marriage my wife had had all the fun she could take. Long story short, one day my wife punched me in the mouth and said, "Me, or drinking... make a choice!"

Well she changed my life and in that moment of desperation I made a choice... I changed. But I tried for years to change out of my own inspiration and each time I failed. For me, I couldn't make that dramatic change until my life was on the edge of the cliff and while it was difficult and very hard to do... I made it, purely out of desperation. While my change was personal, it is the same. Almost all 'organizational change' is also made out of desperation.

Think about IBM when they had to bring Lou Gerstner in to fix it. They put off the changes for years until they were near death as a corporation then brought Gerstner in out of desperation. Gerstner was talented and came with a mandate and his changes could be said to be out of inspiration. So what drove the changes was desperation, the changes were out of inspiration.

People in the organization, in IBM's case, were first forced to change out of desperation from the lack of leadership before Gerstner. After he took charge and introduced the changes necessary to save the business, the people were now being changed as a result of his inspiration. That's how it works. Change from inspiration happens twenty percent of the time and the other eighty percent comes from desperation.

I just returned from working with a large organization that decided to move a headquarters to Europe to save a couple hundred million on taxes. For the people here in this country, many with over twenty years with the company, one person's inspiration was their desperation. While it doesn't change the pain involved with changing, it does help to understand the 'why' of changing. When you're managing change, always understand the two reasons people change... one is inspiration and the other is desperation.

Being the Best Barrel Racer

Barrel racing is the ladies event of rodeo. In barrel racing, a woman rides her horse around a clover leaf pattern in the fastest time to win. Any barrels knocked over during the run will add five seconds on to her time. This may sound very simple but it is not. It requires great training and communication between you and your horse. A successful barrel racing run requires a correct approach to the barrel, a quick turn and an incredible series of starts and stops. One does not simply enter the arena and make a great run. It requires a great deal of work and practice, along with the right equipment.

One of the first things you need is the proper equipment. Most barrel racing competitors prefer a light saddle because lighter weight means a faster run. Next you need a bit and bridle that is comfortable to your horse and gives you control. Most horses will want to take hold of the bit and run but you need to be able to rein them in and get them to gather themselves in between and around the barrels. Training barrel racing reins can really help your horse to develop a good bend and flex, not only in their necks but in their whole bodies.

Bending and flexing is a series of exercise that can be done anywhere. Begin by setting your horse out straight. After walking a few paces, reach halfway down the rein and bring your fist to your hip while applying pressure to your horse's side with your heel. Your horse will fight a little but do not release their head until your horse gives its head to you. The moment that happens, release the rein. Practice on both sides until your horse responds quickly and easily and your can see and feel their body curve around your leg. Bending and flexing exercises will help them to slip around the barrels. You also need to be careful that your horse doesn't develop the habit of dropping a shoulder on the turn because that is a sure fire way to hit a barrel and add seconds to your time. A lot of barrel racers also like to use barrel racing reins with extra braiding or knotting to increase their grip on the rein for better turns. Racing reins.

Be sure your horse's legs are protected. You usually need shin splints and bell boots at least. If your horse has a really hard, deep stop, you might want to think about adding rear skid boots as well. Using an over and under whip can really help to get a little extra speed out on the final run home. Following these steps will set you on your way to becoming a great barrel racer.

Why A Wireless BBQ Thermometer Is Essential

You are going to need the best kitchen gadgets if you want to become an expert cook. Even if you're not aiming for a professional career in the culinary arts, you are going to have to use some of the best gadgets in the kitchen in order to put out the best dishes. One such device is the wireless BBQ thermometer. Whether you're cooking for your family or entering a competition, you are bound to use a wireless BBQ thermometer in the future.

You can minimize the possibility of cooking a bad dish if your equipment is working well. No second guessing when the meat is done. This point is particularly important when you're grilling. When grilling, you are going to need a wireless BBQ thermometer because you will need to let the meat rest and cook inside the grill. Cooking temperature plays a big role in the doneness of the meat.

Steaks are usually medium rare or well done. Cooking the meat too rare or too overdone is a main problem in grilling. When this happens, the person who will eat the steak will not be able to chew it well. You will be showing off poor taste and poor skills in grilling.

The trick is to let the heat and the smoke cook the meat. You shouldn't remove the cover, even if it's to check on the meat. You'd be letting the heat out if you open the grill door too frequently. The wireless BBQ thermometer can determine the temperature inside the grill and inside the meat even when you're not opening the grill's cover. Because it's wireless, you get alerted even when you're standing a few feet away.

Look for other things to be done around the kitchen while the meat is cooking. It can make your charcoal barbecue grill tastes better than what you expected. This is the secret of chefs who can create several courses within an hour.

Becoming A Pharmacy Technician Requires Good Customer Service And Attention To Detail

Pharmacists' jobs are quite important as the prescriptions they fill can be the difference between someone feeling better or not. Their jobs also include working one-on-one with customers as they answer their inquiries on new medications or possible interactions. Their associate, the pharmacy technician, who handles the routine tasks of the pharmacy, allows them to take the time they need for each customer.

Students that may be interested in a career as a pharmacy tech will need training and education. There are certificate courses that can be achieved for a pharmacy technician that are available within traditional schools as well as online schools. Students seeking this certification will typically divide their coursework between a classroom and an internship in a local pharmacy or clinic.

The community colleges that offer an Associate's degree as a pharmacy technician require its applicants to hold a high school diploma as well as meet the generally accepted minimum education requirements for English, math and science. Degree candidates who have not completed high school should document their education with a GED certificate.

While the licensing requirements for a pharmacy tech will vary from state to state, the Pharmacy Technician Associate's Degree is a program that will provide the skills you will need to work in a pharmacy assisting in the processing of prescriptions and other important duties. This will prepare you to work directly with a pharmacist, providing the support he or she needs to ensure customers receive the advice and guidance they seek concerning medications. Additionally, the Associate's degree prepares you if you wish to pursue a Bachelor's degree in the field.

The technician will study the core concept of pharmacy technology. These classes will include the classification of drugs, anatomy and physiology and medical terminology. A graduate will successfully have passed classes in pharmaceutical law, mathematics for pharmacy techs as well as pharmacy treatment and drug therapy.

Technicians can often find employment working at a pharmacy in a hospital; however, more commercial businesses are now adding a pharmacy to their list of available services. This added customer service piece provides a properly run pharmacy is a helpful addition for customers and a profitable part of a business. Techs' professional titles can range from a Certified Pharmacy Technician to a Pharmaceutical Care Associate. The title may change, but the employment opportunities are the same and are expected to grow over the next decade.

A technician's job will, of course, include the preparation and dispensing of medications. The communication skills of someone employed as a tech must be excellent. You are often interacting with pharmacists and customers all day, everyday. One must also exhibit skillful administrative talents as his or her responsibilities will include inventory maintenance as well as the handling of insurance forms for claims.

The History Of Roulette

No one is quite sure where the game of roulette was born. Some point to the early 17th century in France and credit its creation to a French mathematician. Roulette is a French term for "small wheel." Other historians believe that the game was developed in China and was brought to Europe by Monks who traded with the Chinese merchants. Regardless of its origins, the French are credited with developing the game which eventually evolved into the roulette games we are accustomed to nowadays.

The game of roulette became one of the most popular games play during the 18th century because of its popularity with Prince Charles of Monaco. This Prince introduced the game to his kingdom in hopes that it would create a relief to the kingdom's economic distress. The most modern version of Roulette that we in the United States are accustomed to playing did not appear until the mid-1800's and became even more popular during the Gold Rush in California.

Roulette continues to be one of the most popular casino games around. Perhaps the most well-known games in roulette are the American roulette wheel and the European roulette wheel. Although the games are similar in nature, they do have differences in rules and payouts. One major difference in the two games is the color of the chips. Another difference is that in the European version of the game, the dealer uses a stick to swipe away chips, and in America they simply use their hands. These are not huge differences and the rules are basically the same. Roulette can be fun and can be a great way to win big for the high-rolling, serious gambler.
